Terms of sale and plugin licence
Version: 8 September 2026. These terms apply to digital audio plugins purchased from Ahmet Sis, trading as Metasis Audio, through metasisaudio.com. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Product information shown before ordering forms part of the contract.
Products and compatibility
We supply software downloads and a non-exclusive, perpetual right to use the purchased plugin. No physical goods are shipped. Check the product page for the operating systems, plugin formats and system requirements included in your purchase. A compatible DAW is required unless a standalone application is expressly included.
Only the downloads and platforms listed as available for purchase are included in the offered delivery. Access to an installer does not by itself grant a paid licence. Where offered, the full-featured trial runs for seven days without a credit card; after expiry, audio processing is disabled until activation. You may keep your DAW projects and settings. Dynamic EQ remains free software, including its current version. It requires no account, licence key, activation or device allowance; its separate freeware licence applies.
Personal use and device allowance
A licence belongs to one user. You may use it in personal and commercial audio production, including paid and released recordings. Your music and audio output remain yours. A licence normally permits two authorised computers for your own use. It does not permit you to share your key or account so that friends or other independent users can use the same licence.
You may download and reinstall the software as needed. The allowance counts authorised computers, not downloads or plugin instances. Several instances on the same computer use one device place. Contact support for an individual allowance above two devices or help with a lost, broken or replaced computer. We can adjust the allowance for your licence. Statutory rights are not dependent on the old device remaining accessible.
Activation and offline use
Activate inside the plugin using the purchase email and licence key. A brief HTTPS connection checks your licence and available device places. After activation, normal use works offline with no periodic licence-server checks. No dongle, iLok account or subscription is required. The licensing component does not send your audio or projects to the server.
To release a device place, choose Deactivate inside the plugin while online. If the connection fails, the plugin stores a pending deactivation locally; choose Retry when online. The device place is released after server confirmation. Deactivation does not start a new trial. Older activations may require you to verify once with your email and key before they can be deactivated.
The customer account shows licences, downloads and device allowances. It does not offer browser-only device deactivation. If the device limit is reached, existing authorised computers keep working and the plugin explains how to contact support. Details of licence-related data processing are in the privacy policy.
Ordering, payment and contract formation
Before placing an order you can check and correct your products, quantities, email, billing information and payment method. The checkout displays the payable total, currency, tax treatment and available payment methods. There are no physical shipping charges for these downloads. The final button indicates that the order entails payment.
By placing the order you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products. An automated acknowledgement of receipt alone does not accept that offer. We accept the order by providing the paid licence and download access after confirmed payment, or by an express acceptance confirmation. Failed or unpaid orders do not unlock the plugin.
The contract language is English. We store the order details and the version of these terms and the withdrawal notice accepted at checkout. The contractual confirmation is supplied by email; your own order information is also available in your customer account. Save the confirmation for your records.
Account, delivery and updates
A customer account is created or linked to your purchase email during checkout. New customers receive an email link to set a password. The password is not sent in plain text. After payment is confirmed, the licence key and account download link are normally sent automatically within minutes. Check spam folders and contact support if delivery is missing. A technical delivery error does not remove your contractual rights.
Each purchased quantity gives a separate licence with its stated device allowance. Licence emails and downloads can be accessed using your account; keep its email address current and do not share your password. Free updates to the purchased plugin are included as advertised on its product page. Available updates are supplied through the account/download service. We notify customers by email of updates needed to keep the purchased digital product in conformity and explain the installation steps. Statutory update obligations remain unaffected.
Transfer and resale
You may transfer your complete perpetual paid licence to another user. Stop using it, deactivate its computers and make all remaining copies and backups unusable. Start the transfer under My Account → Licences and enter the recipient’s email. If a computer cannot be accessed, contact support so that the technical device-release process does not obstruct a lawful transfer.
The recipient receives a seven-day invitation and accepts the licence terms. While it is pending, new activations are paused; you can cancel it, and an unaccepted invitation expires. On acceptance, the system assigns the licence to the recipient, rotates the activation key and provides download access. It reuses the recipient’s existing account or creates one with a password-setup email. Both parties are informed. There is no transfer fee or imposed waiting period.
Your original invoice, billing details and other purchases remain in your account. The transfer form does not handle payment between seller and buyer. Device places within one licence cannot be sold separately. Statutory exhaustion and lawful-acquirer rights, including applicable rights under EU/EEA law, remain unaffected. Restoring an old offline authorisation does not restore your right to use a licence you have transferred.
Withdrawal and defects
Consumers have the right of withdrawal described in the withdrawal notice. The Withdraw from contract / Vertrag widerrufen function is available without logging in. You can also withdraw by email or letter. Merely downloading a trial or creating an account does not remove a withdrawal right.
For immediate supply of paid digital content, checkout requests your express consent to performance before the fourteen-day withdrawal period ends and your acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the withdrawal right. The right expires only when the applicable statutory conditions, including commencement of performance and provision of the required contractual confirmation, are met.
If the digital product is defective, your statutory remedies remain available. Contact support with the order reference and a description of the problem. We do not exclude mandatory liability, guarantee that every possible DAW or system is compatible, or make statutory rights conditional on a voluntary trial.
Copyright, lawful exceptions and support
The software remains protected by copyright. Apart from permitted backups, use, transfers and mandatory legal exceptions, you may not redistribute the plugin as your own product or make your licence available to independent users. Rights to observe, study or test the program, make necessary backups, or undertake acts permitted by applicable interoperability law are unaffected.
