Support & FAQ

Answers to the questions we get most. If yours isn't here, email support@metasisaudio.com — a real person reads it.

Trial & purchase

Is the free trial full-featured?

Yes. The 7-day trial is the same plugin with every feature unlocked — no watermark, no disabled controls, no credit card required to start it.

What happens when the trial ends?

The plugin stops processing audio until you enter a license key. Your project files and settings aren't affected — buying a license re-enables it instantly, no reinstall needed.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards via Stripe. Sales tax / VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on your billing country, on top of the listed USD price.

Can I get a refund?

Because our plugins are digital downloads, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once delivery begins. If something is genuinely broken on our end, email us — we'll make it right. See our Terms for details.

Licensing & activation

How many computers can I use my license on?

Every license activates on up to 2 devices, in any combination of Windows and macOS — for example, a studio desktop and a laptop.

I'm replacing a computer — how do I move my license?

Sign in to your account, find the device under the license, and click deactivate. That frees the slot immediately for your new machine.

Where do I find my license key?

It's emailed to you immediately after purchase, and always available in your account alongside your invoices.

Compatibility & performance

What formats and platforms are supported?

VST3 and Audio Unit (AU) on macOS 11+, and VST3 on Windows 10+ (64-bit). Any VST3- or AU-compatible host — Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, and others.

How much CPU do your plugins use?

We treat CPU usage and latency as seriously as sound quality. Tape Warmer measures under 2% of a single core per instance on an Apple M1 Pro at worst-case settings — comfortably run dozens of instances in one session.
