What we collect and why
When you buy a plugin: your email address, name (if provided), and billing address (needed to calculate tax correctly for your country). We never see your card details — payment is handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe.
For your account: your email address, a securely hashed password (never stored in plain text), your license keys, and the IDs of devices a license has been activated on (to enforce the per-license device limit).
Server logs: like almost any website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for a short period, to help protect against abuse.
Legal basis
We process this data to fulfil your purchase and manage your license (performance of a contract), and to keep the site secure (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing and automatic tax calculation.
- Our hosting provider — stores the website and database.
We never sell or share your data for advertising purposes.
Cookies
This site uses a single technical, strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking, analytics, or marketing cookies are used — so no cookie consent banner is needed.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and license data for as long as needed to support your license and to meet our legal (tax/accounting) retention obligations.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@metasisaudio.com. Deletion requests are currently handled manually — note that deleting your data will also invalidate any active license activations tied to it. If you're in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
