We're a small indie team based in Germany with 20 years of combined experience in the music industry — as musicians and producers first, plugin developers second. That's the point: we know what other musicians actually need, because we've needed it ourselves.
Our philosophy
- Affordable, on purpose
Great-sounding plugins shouldn't be a luxury purchase. We price every plugin so it's within reach for anyone building a home studio — not just people with a professional budget.
- Every control has a reason
We don't ship a knob unless it earns its place. Every plugin is engineered deliberately for maximum value — no filler features, no bloated interfaces.
- CPU, latency, and audio quality come first — always
A plugin that sounds great but chokes your CPU or adds latency isn't finished. We treat efficiency and sound quality as equally non-negotiable, not a trade-off you have to accept.
Who we are
Metasis Audio is a small, independent team — not a big-brand plugin factory. Twenty years of making and producing music between us means we've sat on both sides of the plugin: the person designing it, and the person trying to finish a mix at 1am wondering why it's eating half a CPU core. We build the plugins we wish we'd had.
